Alejandro Fuentes Olaguibel, a beacon of joy and love, was born on May 17, 1948, in the vibrant State of Mexico. On March 1, 2026, he was called into God’s Arms while surrounded by those loved him most, leaving behind an everlasting legacy that speaks volumes of a life lived.
Having completed his education in Mexico, Alejandro was cherished not only for his educational accomplishments but for the profound impact he made on those around him. His spirited personality radiated warmth, as he navigated life with a joyful heart and an abundance of love. Alejandro took immense pride in his role as a father, consistently declaring that his greatest accomplishment was his family—a sentiment that resonates deeply with all who knew him.
Survived by his two sons and three daughters, his family tree flourishes with love, anchored by eleven grandchildren and nearly twenty great-grandchildren who will carry his spirit and teachings forward. Each of them shared a uniquely special bond with Alejandro, who devoted himself to nurturing their dreams and imparting wisdom with tenderness and joy.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, who was undoubtedly his soulmate and confidante throughout life’s journey—a partnership rooted in love that continues to inspire those left behind.
In honor of his life, family and friends are invited to celebrate his memory during a viewing at Funeraria Latina La Serenidad located at 2510 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, CA, on March 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass to commemorate his life will follow on March 18, 2026, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1015 Baker Street, Costa Mesa, CA, beginning at 2:30 PM.
